CELL-101: Introduction to Stem Cell Research - Technology, Target Customers, Applications (CELL-101STEM)

Description
Upon completion of this course, the learner will exhibit understanding of:
+ Explain what stem cells are, who uses them, and why they are used in research
+ Compare and contrast the similarities and differences among various kinds of stem cells: adult, embryonic, and induced pluripotent
+ Outline the basics of how embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells are cultured and passaged
The learner will view videos and answer questions to check for comprehension.
Learners are encouraged to bring their own knowledge, use search engines, and ask questions (marcia_mednick@takarabio.com) throughout their learning journey.
